At Greens Lake Ranch, we raise cattle with a focus on quality genetics (44 Farms, Gardiner & Cavender), low-stress handling, responsible stewardship, and outstanding eating quality. Our cattle are pasture raised right here on the ranch, giving us control over how they are cared for from pasture to plate.

We offer two distinct premium beef programs: our Pure Black Angus Beef and our F1 Angus × Akaushi Beef. Both are raised to the same Greens Lake standard, but each offers a different eating experience.

Black Angus

Our Black Angus program is built around proven Angus genetics, including cattle sired by 44 Farms bulls. The result is the classic beef experience Angus is known for: rich flavor, excellent tenderness, and well-marbled steaks.

From ribeyes and filets to briskets, roasts, stew meat, and our 80/20 ground beef, our Black Angus line is designed for families who want premium, ranch-raised beef they can feel good about serving.

Greens Lake Reserve (F1)

For customers looking for an even richer steakhouse-style experience, our F1 Angus × Akaushi line combines the strengths of two exceptional beef breeds.

The Angus genetics provide the familiar beef flavor and quality our customers know, while Akaushi genetics contribute increased marbling, tenderness, and richness. The result is a beautifully marbled, exceptionally flavorful beef that sits between traditional premium Angus and fullblood Akaushi or Wagyu.

Our F1 program is ideal for premium steaks, entertaining, gifting, and anyone looking for a truly elevated ranch-to-table experience.
